When people call me to ask about pricing on shirts and designs, I will invariably be asked about sizing. A good, general way to tell if a shirt will fit you sight unseen is to look at the following three measurements: Body Width, Length & Sleeve Length. There are many shirt manufacturers and there are some basic industry standards, but that doesn't account for density of the fabric, cut, Ladies vs. Men's, Youth and content. I try to give as much information to my clients as possible when assisting them in choosing a shirt style. Women usually have concerns about how it will fit in their tummy, bust and arms while men typically know what their size is. I also try to order new brands and styles all the time for samples so I can educate myself and be ready for whatever a client's needs are. If I am unfamiliar with a company's products, I will even go so far as to order a couple of sizes and let my clients try them on. Fitting people is to the right product is an invaluable tool in making my customers happy and it always pays off in the end with satisfied customers and repeat referrals.
